Remember the Wonder Years?

Okay, I will admit I *loved* that show. Even though it was set in the 1960s, there were so many issues in it that anyone and everyone could relate to. I even thought Fred Savage was adorable, up until about mid-high school age then he just turned into an average high schooler. Remember the rumors that Paul was really Marilyn Manson? I doubt those were true...but hey, I guess Miss Winnie Cooper aka Danica McKellar is a mathematician of sorts with her own theorem, and her own yoga video for sale here...

Just between you and me, I could never tell what Kevin saw in her, that french girl was a lot nicer and cuter, but perhaps was I just a wee bit jealous? Neways, turns out little Winnie Cooper has done quite a lot more than your average childstar. It's refreshing to read about someone who has accomplished so much, especially when we're far too used to the more widely circulated sordid "look what ditch they're in now" childstar updates....Ok, I have to quite my internet toodling and walk the doggie... Lovely Leavenworth pictures and a short narrative of our hike to Lake Valhalla will be in my next blogging session!

The Wonder Years, huh? I used to watch that show! It's great to hear that Winnie is doing something productive. :) It's funny...I was just thinking about that show yesterday...the episode where Winnie is the dot on the "I" in the marching band and gets a zit from the stress of being the dot. Did anyone else see that?

I vaguely remember that one... my most vivid memories are of Becky Slater smacking him across the face "Friends! How can we be just FRIENDS!" She was a little young for that much angst, don't ya think?
