How to stay cool on a hot summer day

When the sweat begins to trickle down your brow even though you're sitting in the coolest room of you home doing absolutely nothing and you begin to contemplate purchasing air-conditioning (even though you'd only use it for 2 weeks out of the year) and you just can't bear the heat, get INTO the kitchen... Pop a tall beer-stein type glass and a deep mixing bowl into the freezer, and pull out your favorite ice cream... Oh yeah, some straws and a bit of milk would be good too, as would an electric mixer.

For your choco-holic espresso-loving sweetie: chocolate ice cream with a few spoonfuls of Ghirardelli's hot cocoa mix and a dash of freshly ground beans.
For the berry-lover in you: vanilla ice cream with fresh raspberries mixed in. (plus a few more on top just to make it pretty!) Sweet, cold, yummy goodness!

Yum! Makes me wish I were at home, fixing myself some delicious ice cream concoction instead of back in the office this afternoon.

yum...those both sound good! I remember those days when my tiny apt got up to 90 degrees! When it cooled off outside I'd go for a walk and then take an ice cold shower before bed!
